Welcome to your rustic chic lakefront retreat, our treasured Northwoods getaway from times begone with expansive breathtaking views, crystal clear water with fantastic lake frontage and natural light pouring in from huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake. This newly renovated authentic 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom 100 year old Northwoods cabin on Upper Eau Claire Lake overflows with gorgeous views and cozy corners. It accommodates 6 guests with its fully stocked gally kitchen and breakfast bar, an open concept living and dining space with high ceilings, a beautiful lakefront sunroom, and numerous outdoor areas. Enjoy beautiful accents, fine linens, cozy blankets, original artwork and family heirlooms. Please note that with owner’s approval, the Sunroom can accommodate two twin air mattresses or a Pack and Play, all of which can be provided upon request.
 

Upper Eau Claire Lake is a 1,000-acre sandy bottom clear water lake located on the Eau Claire chain of lakes, abundant with recreational activities for everyone. Jet skiing, water skiing and tubing are allowed between 9am and 5pm. Enjoy quiet recreations at dawn and dusk out on the water. Create memories with family and friends through peaceful moments fishing, kayaking, swimming or bird watching together. Upper Eau Claire Lake is great for fishing for trophy muskies, walleye, northern pike and panfish. The cabin is located just down the road from a convenience store and bait shop. There is also a public boat launch and you can feel free to make our dock your own.
 

20 minutes to downtown Hayward where you can explore the downtown shops, Adventure Center with go karting and mini golf, and much more! Head into town for some ice cream and retreat back to your cabin to reconnect with nature. Our beautiful cabin is just one hour to Duluth, MN, and 1.5 hours to Bayfield and the Apostle Islands where much more exploration awaits.
